Good Weird Productions

A logo that was created for Good Weird Productions, a company whose primary focus is on producing independent films. The logo takes its own unique approach to the idea of what it means to be a “good weird,” which in an artistic sense, might mean for the work to present itself in an unusual, avant-garde sense, but the approach nevertheless matches the content and its message. Gestalt theory is utilized mainly through the figure ground and closure principles. The mockup provided shows what the logo would look like at the start of one of their movies.

Charles and Ray Eames: Designers of the 20th Century

The cover and spreads for a redesigned edition of Pat Kirkham’s book, Charles and Ray Eames: Designers of the Twentieth Century, originally written by Pat Kirkham. The visuals deepen the book’s overall insight into the lives and careers of Charles and Ray Eames. The overall visual style is fairly minimalist, which provides a more convenient reading experience.

Matt Evans's 2024 Film Diary

A poster with a set of three graphs, each of which provides its own set of statistics regarding the movies that the creator watched in 2024. Two of the graphs provide comprehensive lists of every movie that was watched, along with subcategories like the respective genres of each movie and the Letterboxd user ratings of each movie. The graphs cover subjects like the number of movies watched every month and recommendation breakdowns. The poster gives spectators a general idea of how many movies are watched every year by people who are into film versus ones who are not into film.
